What EventSpeed is
EventSpeed is a directory and planning tool that connects event organisers with independent hire suppliers. We generate kit lists, suggest supplier combinations and relay quote requests. We are not a party to any hire contract: agreements for equipment or services are made directly between organiser and supplier, on the supplier's terms.
Kit lists, ratios and guide prices
Our calculators, ratios and guide prices are careful, industry-standard planning guidance, not professional advice for your specific event. Licensed and large events remain responsible for their own event management plans, risk assessments and legal compliance. Guide prices are indicative ranges: supplier quotes are the real numbers.
Directory listings
Unclaimed listings are compiled from public business information and can be claimed, corrected or removed by the business at any time via hello@eventspeed.co.uk. "Verified" means we have checked the claimant controls the business contact details, not that we guarantee the business's work. Organisers should satisfy themselves on insurance, competence and terms, as with any direct hire.
Acceptable use
No scraping the directory for resale, no fake briefs, no misrepresenting a business you do not control, no using quote requests to spam suppliers. We remove access for any of it.
Liability
The service is provided as is, and we do not accept liability for losses arising from supplier performance, event outcomes or reliance on planning guidance, beyond what cannot be excluded under UK law. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
These terms
English law, English courts. We may update these terms as the product grows; material changes will be flagged on this page with a new date.
